FUN Portland Restaurant

Where is a good FUN Portland restaurant for 10 women to go for a birthday dinner? (ahem...we're 45ish) Heard about the Nines, but reviews aren't very good for the food, and I think the age bracket is a bit younger than we are.

Depends on what FUN means to you...
You could have Stefania @ Taste Unique do a special dinner for you...that would be delightful..
Or Eastburn has a great downstairs bar with Skeeball..
Tanuki ...certainly fun and delicious

We just returned from a 3 night stay at The Nines and loved Urban Farmer! We had two lunches there and one dinner. The ambiance is very cool, great service and excellent food. They offer a nice 3 course lunch for $20.pp which we did twice. Up on the 15th floor is Departures, we had dinner there on Fri. night and loved our time there! The views are beautiful from the dining room and the food was of the highest quality. Curried noodles, goyza, salmon and tempura were delicious. Little Bird is also one of our favorites, we dined there for the second time last week while staying at The Nines. :)
