Trip with Husband in Feb...Need restaurant/bar recs

Hi! My husband and I (25 & 26) are planning a trip in Feb. and I need some great restaurant and bar recommendations!

We are staying in Soho and will be seeing the Book of Mormon on Friday so any pre-show dinner restaurants would be nice to.

Last time we were in town we went to Spice Market and loved it...so looking for something new, but same kind of atmosphere (laid back, can have long dinner with drinks, and amazing food). Willing to spend $250 total on dinner with drinks.

Doesn't have to be in Soho since we are willing to take a cab.

Also, anyone have recs for bars we can go to after/before dinner. We are NOT clubbers so somewhere that we can sit and relax, but have great wine selections and mixed drinks...not sure if anyone has been to houston, but somewhere that has mixed drinks like Anvil.

Fatty Crab (in the west village) is fantastic. They don't take resys, but it's a good choice if you are going early.

L'Artusi is great for Italian and Aria wine bar is nearby where you can go after. Laconda Verde is even better (if you can get a reservation) then go to Anotheroom or Turks and Frogs after (both good wine bars). Definitely go to Laconda Verde if you can get in.

Minetta Tavern, Mercer Kitchen and Apizz are both great also.

For drinks after dinner definitely go to a speakeasy- Little Branch, Death & Co, or Pegu Club.

kathryn-Thanks for all the link...it was so helpful and hopefully will get to stop at a few that you suggested. Death & Co. and Pegu Club look like they would be a lot of fun.

cingor-thanks for the restaurant ideas...I think I'm going to try and make a resy at Laconda Verde. Their food and atmosphere looked amazing...just what we were looking for!

So unfortunately we are not able to get into Locanda Verde :( So we are going to try something else...maybe next time!
