Looking for excellent romantic dinner in Cancun hotel zone, please help.

My wife and I will be in Cancun for her birthday end of the month. I am looking for somewhere with good food that is romantic and in Cancun hotel zone. We live in Charleston, SC so we know about good food in a romantic setting. Only in New York and New Orleans have I found food that compared. What are your recommendations for her birthday dinner?

I recommend Harry's, its right near the hotels, wonderful outside romantic dining or inside is nice too. The food is excellent. I had my birthday there last year. Prime meat steak, and lobsters, and nice appetizers. It''s the best place in Cancun as far as upscale , romantic and good food

I think that both of the high-end restaurants at the Fiesta Americana Grend Coral Beach (La Joya - Mexican with a show or La Basilic - French) would fit your wishes.

La Joya is extremely fine dining - a "show" in Mexico is usually just Mexican music and is lovely. El Mortero is good too..
