Husband's 40th party in Chicago on St. Patty's Day-need ideas pls!

We are planning on spending the weekend in Chicago for my husband's 40th birthday. We reserved a trolley to transport up to 30 of our friends on Saturday night for a pub crawl. His birthday just happens to fall on St. Patrick's Day, which should be a blast. Anyway, we would like to have something fun to do during the day (Saturday). Museums are great, but not for this occasion. We live a few hours away, so we don't know all there is to do in Chicago. There may be 12-25 people joining us. I've done whirly ball before, which was fun. I appreciate any ideas you have for people (mostly) in our 40's, but a fun group. Thanks!

  1. I would check with the bars before you do this pub crawl to make sure they can handle your size party. It will be an insane weekend for the bars and some may have one in and one out policies in place especially since I assume you'll be in the high tourist area. As this is a food based site, we have to keep it focused on food. You may want to check out for more advice on what to do.

    1. Hmmm, this might not be the "blast" you're looking for. The Saturday of St Patrick's Day is a sh*t show in Chicago, with half of the city's 20-30 year olds puking on their own shoes by mid-afternoon.
