Paprika Speck?

Hi all,
I have a nice looking .5 lb hunk of paprika speck hanging out in the fridge. I've never eaten speck and am not sure the best thing to do with it. Can it be eaten as-is? Sliced thin for pizza? What do you all suggest?

Thanks!

Speck! Delicous Speck! Your's sounds like it is a locally made product (from where, you did not make clear), but it is a wonderful charcuterie product, meant to be sliced thin and served up; with whatever accompaniaments' you deem approproriate... good thin bread, mustards (tho sounds kind of wrong with the paprika), perhaps a sweet fig spread, cornishons or pickled veg's.

If you put on a flatbread with fig's, a blue cheese, olive oil, etc. would be awesome!), and added the speck late in the game so not overcooked, that would be GREAT! YUMMY!

I never heard of it. I googled it, but...there seems to be fatback speck, and then there is the cured leg of pig?. So which do you have? Seems it would make quite a difference on how you eat it.
