An excellent meal with excellent beer?

My boyfriend is turning 30 this coming Wednesday, and I'd love to take him out to a really memorable meal...he isn't big on wine but loves beer, so my thought is to find a spot that offers a tasting menu or fixed price with beer pairings. I haven't made a reservation yet, and my budget is around $300 total, including drinks and tip. Any suggestions are much appreciated!

Funny, just the other day there was a discussion about the beer pairings at Eleven Madison. That is far more $$ than you want to spend.
Places that come to mind are Craft/Craftbar and Cafe d Alsace and any of the Belgian mussels places
