Rioja / Logroño trip

Hi - I will be visiting Rioja in May and hope to visit the pintxos / tapas bars on Calle Laurel and Calle San Juan. Unfortunately, I'll only be in the area on Sunday and Monday. I was told many bars are closed Sunday night and all day on Monday. Do you know if this is accurate or are the bars also open Sunday night and/or Monday?
