Personally, I like the Pongal II for Indian and Oishi for Sushi.

Another vote for Pongal II. The tandoori lamb is especially delicious.

You have two solid sushi places right in Sudbury with Oishii and Fugakyu however be warned that both are rather expense for what they are.

Next door in Marlborough is Allora Ristorante, which is a very good Mediterranean restaurant with lakeside views. In Wayland there, the Dudley Chateau, which is a real dive-y type spot, also on a lake--good burgers and onion rings, as well as turkey tips. And just north in Maynard is Cast Iron Kitchen, which is a kind of gastropub/upscale comfort food place with excellent dishes.
