Rosca de Reyes at Panaderia Los Reyes in Bell

Just in case anyone's looking for Rosca de Reyes to celebrate Three Kings day tomorrow, I'll mention that I saw banners last week promoting them at Los Reyes Bakery in Bell. Didn't see or try any, but that's such an amazing spot, I bet they're good. This was my first visit to Panaderia y Pasteleria Los Reyes. The notion of a 24-hour operation (most days except fridays and saturdays) blows me away. Seeing the pastries displayed on the baking racks, no time to remove them from their pans or take away the empties, employees hustling just to keep stock in the front, speaks of the volumes moved through this site.

Los Reyes is my favorite panaderia. Their stuff is always fresh, tasty, and super cheap to boot. Best yet, they're two doors down from La Casita Mexicana!

Thanks for the heads up on the special. We had their capirotada last year around Easter and it was really good too.

Please let us know how the rosca is if you try it!

Yes, our destination was La Casita Mexicana. I didn't know the rep of Los Reyes until later, but being good chowhounds we had to go inside, and the place smelled wonderful.
