ISO - BYOB in Park Slope/Prospect Heights

Looking for a laid back restaurant in Park Slope or Prospect Heights to host a family party. Good, reasonably priced food, casual where some of the wee ones can waddle around if needed, and where we can bring some great wines to enjoy.
Any suggestions?

  1. Piccoli in South Slope is still BYOB. It's a very good Italian restaurant in the hood with reasonable prices. Probably not the best place for the small ones to waddle around as it's small. But they open at 4:30P and doesn't really get busy until 6:30P or so. So I'd say an early dinner would be the best for you.

    1. Kaz An Nou...French Caribbean food. BYO. Closed for vacation until 1/10. Small place, no reservations, but you can contact owner to arrange private event. Food is outstanding.
