Roasted Green Chiles

Any ideas about where I could buy canned or frozen roasted green chiles in Philly?

Target. They actually carry Hatch brand canned chiles.

      Are those canned or frozen?

        They are canned.

I've seen canned Hatch chiles in a number of supermarkets, too.

Produce Junction regularly has poblano chilis and I have seen the Hatch chilis from time to time. You can always roast them yourself (easy to do), plus they will be fresh. And the OP is right, you can find roasted chilies in most of the corner Mexican stores.

Probably too late in the season but I bought fresh Hatch chiles at Whole Foods in the fall.
Pretty cheap too, maybe $1/lb. Easily roasted on gas stove.

I recently saw (dried) red chiles at 12th Street Cantina in Reading Terminal Market...maybe they have frozen green chile too, or know of another place to get it.

I think I have seen them in just about every Mexican corner store in South Philly. Not 100% sure about roasted, but I know I have seen canned green chiles though.
