Early morning breakfast in Ramona?

Starting a moto ride early Saturday morning, need a meeting place for the (small) group. Last time someone suggested the Amerient which was, frankly, terrible.

Looking for a more hound-ish solution, and will probably meet around 7-ish.

Any of you NorthEast county types have suggestions? Might have to default to the taco shop options.

      We live in Ramona and enjoy the Beach Grass Cafe in Poway. Strongly agree with BC's recommendation of Cheer's. (To be fair, we have not been to DiCarlo's since they started breakfast service. They have serviceable steaks and burgers but would typically not be considered "houndish.")

        OMG...you went to that Cantonese/American/whatever that place is..can't believe you are alive to write about it!
        It's so funky scary on the outside that I have not been inside.

        I want to go off roading with you guys...KTM KTM KTM..

        There is D' Carlos that is the gussied up place and they serve breakfast on Sat/Sun..
        Kountry Kitchen is a decent breakfast spot..
        Make sure you stop at Cheer's on the way home for the best cheeseburger and voted in SD as the best.

            Was Kountry Kitchen the place on DDD? I know Fieri did a place up in Ramona, but I can't remember the name of the place. This could be good or really, really bad depending on your opinion of the show. Who voted on Cheers for the best burger in SD? Was it my favorite ad guy in the UT?

              DDD visited the Ramona Cafe, not the Kountry Kitchen. And no, the Cheers vote was not paid for but the result of a Del Mar Fairgrounds contest organized by a local radio station. The competition consisted of several sacred cows including Rocky's and Hodad's. Oh, yee of little faith. Hounds will drive to TJ for a taco but won't drive 20 minutes off the I-15 for cheeseburger.

            Ramona Cafe on Main St., serves some basic comfort american breakfast selections, burrito's, taco's , carne asada plate, etc.
