Hound s help needed spicy ranch dressing

Have searched the board and cannot find a good spicy ranch dressing. A local restaurant just adds
a hot sauce to their ranch. Would like to find something more tangy and tantalizing any ideas?

You could add chopped jalapenos. You could go Asian and add Wasabe or regular horseradish.

If I was going to do it, I would go with the Cayenne and smoked paprika idea. Would make it very colorful ...and delicious.

I love the ranch dressing in America's Test Kitchen Family Cookbook with a healthy dollop of puréed chipotle in adobo mixed in.

I also add chipotle in adobo to my Ranch dressing. I usually have a jar of chipotle in adobo that I've run thru the food processor and will add it to mayo, mustard, crema, soups, and my Ranch dressing.

I purée the can as I open it and add it to many things, as you do I. I don't care if it's not "in" anymore; it's one of my favourite flavours.

Cayenne pepper w/ smoked paprika perhaps?
