Chinese Chicken Wing Recipe

I'm looking for a really good chinese chicken wing recipe. If anyone's been to the Islander in Warwick, Rhode Island that's what I'm looking for. They are in a rich, thick sauce. I've had many chinese wings, but nothing like these. Any feed back would be great !!

  1. The chinese wings at the Islander are pretty good, so here is what I think you will need for this recipe. Rice wine, Teryaki sauce, brown sugar, garlic, sesame oil, oyster sauce, and corn starch. If you like it a little hot you can always add some chili flakes. So I did not list quantities because it would depend on how many wings you are marinating. Go by your own taste, you definately want to marinate them for a few hours in the mixture. Brown off the chicken a little in the oven then pour the marinade over the wings and finish. The corn starch will thicken the sauce and you will be left with a sticky four to five napkin appetizer. I hope this was helpful.

Sounds good, I'll try it thank you .. I tried chili paste, oyster sauce, mirin, sesame oil, soy sauce, garli and scallion oh and brown sugar, I let it thinker on the stovetop then poured it over chicken breasts and finished it in the oven, it was pretty tasty :)
