liquids in pressure cookers

I bought myself a 3 qt presto pressure cooker for Hanukkah and will start experimenting soon. Friday is payday so I am going to order Lorna Sass's book. In the mean time, if use beer or wine or another liquid in lieu of water or replacing water do I need to change the amount of liquid I use or the cooking time? Thanks

Other than flavor, I don't think wine or beer are any different than water, cup for cup in a pressure cooker.
