SLATER Cookbook Prices Go Through Room!
I bought Tender and Kitchen Diaries when they were COTMs. I don't remember the exact prices but together they were around $40. I just logged on to Amazon to look browse some of his other books and found that these two books are like $80 each!
What gives? Did Slater win the Nobel Prize for cooking (He should!) ? Was he kidnapped by the Peruvian Drug Cartel?
Anybody know any reason for this big surge in price?
i assume you meant "roof" instead of room?
and according to the search i just did, Tender is actually on sale for $25:
but those prices on Kitchen Diaries are freaking BIZARRE. you can't even buy a new paperback copy, and the lowest price they have listed for a *new* hardcover is $250!! i wonder if it's been taken out of print...
