Question about Golden China in Chantilly VA

This has been a sort of ordinary Chinese buffet/Mongolian grill.

Recently, I have seen groups of Asians going in at lunch, which surprised me. Seemed more Chinese American. Today, I drove by and saw several signs (handwritten) on the windows - all in Chinese. Makes me wonder if there is some new good food to be had. Anyone know anything?.

thanks for the heads-up. We used to frequent Golden China pretty regularly, it's good for families with kids. This sounds very promising.

We need to get back to 100 Degree too!

You saw the 100 Degree review in the Washington Post?

I think Golden China went through a change in ownership a few years ago - they seemed to have changed. I wonder if the Hibachi Grill and Buffet is helping Golden China improve to compete.

Thanks -- not sure how I missed that review. Two stars for strip mall chinese is good. I think they'll do well. The people are very very nice.

Speaking of Hibachi Grill, seems sort of odd for them to open there since Genghis Grill just opened up there as well. Maybe the competition will force all of them to raise their game (same for that new place where Il Mee used to be -- Goo Go Pa or something like that).

My inlaws are taiwanese and have become regular customers - apparently not bad.
