Star of India Post Rd Orange Ct
What's the deal on this place? Every time I drive by the parking lot is empty and it seems to have changed names over the years? On other sites I have seen good reviews and this confuses me? Thanks!

There have been a number of Indian restaurants in that space over the last 15+ years. The landlord of the building is also Indian. He owns the restaurant equipment (taken from an earlier tenant who defaulted on the lease) and keeps getting new pigeons to operate the place. They don't have the capital to open a new restaurant, so when offered a fully equipped place for rent only they grab it. Unfortunately, they are not usually 'good' business people and don't make a go of this.
The deli adjoining has had more than 6 owners that I remembered after the liqour store went out. The only tenant who has lasted is the coin shop, a one man operation.
