Dickie's BBQ...any good?

One just opened up here in town. I see from their website they're in 36 states. The menu looks interesting.

My first experience with them was also at DFW, and it was...okay for airport food is the best way to put it. Then came inot our market maybe four years ago, and it is way not up to even what I'd call mid-level stuff locally. They are, I admit, family friendly.

We have them here in No Ca and like it, but not sure how it differs from the airport. They have a variety of different meats and sandwich sizes, sides are good. They also have self serve BBQ sauces and free large dill pickles and soft serve ice cream. If you like BBQ, it is pretty good. But being from California, we probably have not had a ton of awesome BBQ! I guess in Dallas there are better options.

My only experience is at their branch at the AMR terminal at DFW. I was very excited to find it about 20 years ago and It's a good option in the airport but I wouldn't be overly excited if they were to open a branch in my neighborhood. I think they had 1 or 2 stores + the airport back then.

I just looked at their site and that's some heavy duty expansion
