Pre Dinner Drinks

We have a ressie at Violon d' Ingres (a group of 17) and I need a spot for pre-dinner drinks.

I was hoping for a casual spot where we could stand or sit. As long as it is near the metro line 8, it works for me.

Any suggestions are welcome......thanks!!

The bar at the Cafe de l'Alma on the avenue Rapp at rue de l'Université. Just a 5-min walk to Violon d'Ingres.

Or

The bar at Mini Palais at the Grand Palais. Then métro from Concorde to La Tour-Maubourg or Ecole Militaire. Or by foot (20 mins) via the Pont Alexandre III.
