I'm wondering if anyone has eaten at Tofu Village or Modus? I hadn't heard of them yet. I guess the lineups at Khao San Road, etc. will get much longer in the next few months. I hadn't realized that Grant from Black Hoof was now cooking at Enoteca Sociale.

I guess I don't read Chowhound as often as a few years ago, for many reasons!

I'm not a fan of Libretto at all so I guess I ignored their offshoot, too.

my friend's been raving about Tofu Village for over a year. We're east enders so we're usually not in that hood. says its quite excellent. their tofu soup is great.

and not sure how you missed the Enoteca Sociale stuff. it was part of some interesting CH threads :)

And Grant VG was also mentioned just about everywhere when he started working at Enoteca so it would be really hard to miss.
