La Tur is back at Costco
A little pricier this year at $14.99 a pound with a package at about $8 almost 1/2 the regular price. If you can wait a few days, as it approached its best buy date, it may be lower but there may be none left.

Also noted a Kirkland house brand Vermont Cheddar with the label reading cave aged, bandage wrapped that sounds suspiciously similar to the prize winning Cabot at 1/2 the price.

re: wolfe
Tomorrow (the 17th) is the sell by date on the La Tur at the Richmond Costco. They still have a few cases, located on the top shelf in the regular cheese section. The cheese still appears to be in good condition.
Totally off topic, but still exciting: the Richmond Costco now has Hodo Soy tofu and spicy yuba strips.
