Hey everybody. Got some friends with young kids coming to town next week and want to watch the Saints Playoff Game at a FAMILY FRIENDLY environment. Anyone got any suggestions?

  1. We watched the SuperBowl in 2010 at john Besh's American Sector restaurant in the WWII museum. Not a place you would think to watch a game, but it was great. Big T.V's all around the circular restaurant, good views from most every table. And a child friendly menu.

Margaritaville has very large screen and plenty of tables so more suitable for kids.

They are open for breakfast so go early and get ahead of everyone.

Walk On's is a new sports bar on Poydras near the SD.

Crescent City Brewhouse is probably the best place in the FQ to watch sports. They have plenty of TV's on second floor.

Gordon Biersch is a Brew Pub in CBD near the FQ. It's NW of The Hilton near the Convention Center and Harrah's Casino offering outstanding drinks and food for lunch and dinner. There are 5 Big Screen TV's. They have a Happy Hour Special Monday/Friday from 4 PM to 6:30 PM with special prices on appetizers and drinks.
