Any recommendations for lechón?

El Bohio (791 East Tremont in the Bronx.) They have been doing Lechon forever.

You're likely to find it between Marcy Avenue and Hewes Street on the J/M/Z line...but it likely won't beat a trip to Guavate.

I seem to recall Hewes near Marcy being a mostly Orthodox neighborhood, so it's not the first place I'd think of for lechón. Any place in particular?

It's Broadway, between Marcy & Hewes...still Latino community / restos there. You could also try out in Bushwick by the "L" train DeKalb Avenue station / Stanhope Street side...worth a walk around.
