Italian in Georgetown area?

Any good Italian in the Georgetown area? Looking for a good dinner on a Friday night. Haven't seen any glowing recomendations on the boards.

I really like Il Canale. Cute spot on a side street with delicious pizzas and pastas. I got the linguine with clams the last time I was there and it was very good.

Cafe Milano for upscaled Italian.
Filamena makes it's own pasta in house.

You might want to consider Il Canale. I've only had their pizza and mozzerella salad, but both were pretty good. It has a modern, upscale-ish atmosphere.

Filomena is pretty good red-sauce Italian, and I think it's fun and busy which can be enjoyable.
