What was the most memorable RIDICULOUS food-related moment on TV that you saw this year?
Year End Review Time!
What was the most ridiculous thing you saw on food-related television programming this year? Something that made you laugh out loud, or roll your eyes.
For me, one of the top ridiculous moments was Chef Irvine on TNIC All Stars, with his description and making of "HOTBERGS" -- "its a hot dog and hamburger, TOGETHER! you won't find them anywhere ELSE in Americaaaaaaaa" LOLOLOLOL
On Ludo Bites America, our rage-aholic hero screams like a lunatic concierge to his kitchen staff, "SOUP IS WAITING HERE ! " or, "WHERE'S THE F***Ing CHEESE !". Also, the sight of his wife Krissy careening aloft a giant pig - rodeo-style - then afterward gingerly walking away bow-legged and stating that she got a super-wedgie from her wild porcine ride. Lordy, I mused fondly over that lingering image and at the good fortune of her silky underthings for several days. Mmm, Krissy wedgie...
Paula Deen groping Matt Lauer on the Today show while making mashed potatoes:
PAULA: Let me tell you a great way to keep your potatoes hot while you're waitin'.
MATT: I know...I know where this is going...I know all about keepin' my potatoes hot!
Runner-up: the Eggies commercial! It's so silly, it's hard not to crack up when you see it:
Actually more to choose from than I care to admit.
There were two really HORRIBLE shows: Bobby Flay's America's Next Great Restaurant (where the unfortunate winner Soul Daddy was disposed of rather abruptly), and Famous Food on VH1 where Heidi Montag, one of those wretched NJ housewives, and Pussy from the Sopranos yelled at each other non-stop.
Ehh... I'll just go with Sandra Lee being Sandra Lee:
