chinatown suggestions with teenage boy

I'm planning a winter break Boston outing with my high school freshman son next week.

Any recs for Chinatown lunch?

He likes chicken and black bean sauce and scallion pancakes from CK Shanghi in Wellesly for point of reference.

thanks for your ideas

Taiwan Cafe for the roast-beef in scallion pancake roll!

Check out the roti canai and nasi lemak or char kuay teaw at Penang.

Shabu-shabu at Kaze or Shabu-Zen is fun, unique, and not too challenging to budding palates.

Pho, fresh rolls and bun at Xinh Xinh is another gentle introduction to an awesome cuisine.

Dumpling Cafe has a huge menu of Taiwanese specialties, from the unscary to the novel (and they have great XLB, which any teen should love).

A BBQ plate at Quick Pic or Vinh-Sun is delicious, not at all odd (except for bones in some dishes, which any chicken-wing eater shouldn't be too freaked out about), and a great Chinatown experience.

The noodles with pork and black bean sauce at Dumpling Cafe are quite good as well.

You could try Winsor dim sum for familiar flavors or New Shanghai (which actually serves Sichuan food--hot and spicy) for something new.
