Purdy's Cafe at Nell & Lo's (Galway)
A little off the beaten path . . .had Jennie oats at Purdy's Cafe recently. A charming cafe (red & white checked curtains, etc.) with friendly servers. The oatmeal was simply delicious with cream, brown sugar, pecans, fresh blueberries/apples/strawberries. Been here once before. Will definitely return and try lunch next.
Purdy's Cafe is on Facebook. Also comes up on www.SacandagaExpress.com. Didn't see a website. Located at 1602 Route 29 (Galway).
Any other gems in this locale?

I've passed it on my way to get cheese at Waterwheel Village, or maple syrup at Nightingale's, but never stopped. Thanks for the recommendation. Have you tried the Cock 'n Bull, closer to the Galway four-corners?

re: PSZaas
Not yet. . . Will report back if I do.
I went to another Galway-ish place with a customer for lunch. Don't remember the name. Maybe C and J's??? They had a special salad dressing. It was good. Service was a little slow. They said it used to be better.
And of course, there's Village Pizzeria which I discovered via chowhound (thanks, PSZaas) and Saratgoa National.
