Indigo LC @ Sur La Table in Signature line

I don't want to say they introduced a new color as I believe Indigo is an older color. Maybe it's SLT's answer to the Aubergine at WS. The LC dull and dreary collection continues although the Indigo looks like a pretty nice color. BTW, they started putting their regular LC line on sale as only the Signature line will be available soon.

    Yaaay! It's my favorite color.

Boo! They're not making the 4.5 qt. round oven.

Yet, there's a 4.5 qt. in Midnight Blue on the LC website: http://cookware.lecreuset.com/cookwar...

    Another kiwi/lemongrass situation?

Jay, the Midnight Blue and Indigo are very different. The finish on the MB is a pearlized metallic finish almost like car paint. It has tiny silvery particles in the enamel.

blondelle, was the midnight blue a Bloomie's/UK exclusive a couple of years back?

I looked at the link - that indigo looks like the faded color of the newer LC line. I prefer the solid color of the old line. A bit disappointing but oh well.

Mine is solid color, too, which I so prefer to the graduated colors. Also, I googled <le creuset round french ovens sur la table> and Sur La Table doesn't carry any in 4.5 qt., not even Flame.

I'm not seeing it, blondelle. Thanks for thinking of me, though.

I have the Indigo and was pretty bummed it never made it to the main stores here in MA. It's a beautiful deep dark blue that reflects its color under light. I think I purchased mine in 2000 or 2001 from the LC outlet.
