I am new to Japan and need a good and reliable water dispenser with reasonable price.

Please let me know the brand of your water dispenser and where can i buy them.

Thank you very much.

When I lived in Japan, I always used tap water. Most Japanese people do, as well.

I think it depends on where you live. I read a survey awhile back that said that most Tokyo residents drink either filtered or bottled water.

I use a filter on my tap and also drink bottled water.

If you're wanting a hot water dispenser, Zojirushi makes excellent ones. You may want to use filtered or bottled water to fill it to keel down mineral scale. Almost everywhere sells them (Livin, Homes, Seiyu, Yodabashi, BIC), and occasionally you can find them at Hard-Off (chain of resale stores that generally has some great stuff at reasonable prices).
