Aliki's Tavern
Looking for great food near LAX? This cafe serves authentic Greek/Med food at reasonable prices. They are open for lunch and dinner every day except Sunday. You will find all of the traditional Greek food as well as new dishes from the owner's family recipes. All is very fresh and tasty. The dips and pita they serve to go are great to take home or on a plane. The staff is delightful.

I had a different experience.
I went for lunch. I thought it was pretty pricey for what you received. The service was slower than frozen molasses in a pool of liquid nitrogen, and we were only one of 2 tables seated in the restaurant (and we were just a party of two). I wouldn't call the place dirty, but I would call it run down. I think they should call one of those restaurant rescue shows for a makeover. Check out their website (http://www.elikioliveoil.com) and you can see even their website could also use a makeover. You can find their prices too for the food.
They have some really sad looking fridges where they sell Greek goods to-go. I believe I've even seem them at a few farmer's markets (well, at least, I know I saw them at the Torrance Farmer's Market). The products aren't a bargain. The quality is only okay.
The food was just okay. The portions were decent (but the value just wasn't there). The presentation was less fancy, than say Daphne's Greek Cafe (or whatever they call that chain these days). I wouldn't call it great, however, if you're hankering for Greek food and you're around LAX, this is your only option (that I'm aware of), so by default, I suppose it's your best Greek food option.
