Trader Joe's High Fiber Cereal has a new fan

That fan is me. Maybe because these twigs are very small and not too woody, I found this cereal to be quite good.

Are there any similar products out there that I should try?

I just tried their High Fiber Fruit & Nut Multigrain Medley twig cereal (purple/lavender box) and I like it too! Usually I only like the bad cereals lol.

I have bought 3 other types of cereals but haven't tried them yet.

I just bought a box of that one too. Will try it as soon I finish my box of Nature's Path Organic Flax Plus Pumpkin Raisin Crunch, which is also very good.

TJ Twigs Flakes and Clusters used to be my HF cereal of choice, but was discontinued...I'm eating the Kashi Good Friends Trio of Flakes, Twigs and Granola which is essentially the same cereal.

Thanks, good thread, I know most of those cereals. Enjoy Puffins, Kashi, and Crispix. Here I'm looking for high fiber, reasonably tasty. Did not expect to find twigs that taste this good!

i've heard good things about Kellogg's Raisin Bran Extra and Target's Archer Farms High Fiber cereal but i haven't had them myself.

have you tried Health Valley Organic Fiber 7 Flakes? i recall liking those. Nature's Path cereals are also very good, and many of them are high in fiber - i've never had it but you might want to try their SmartBran, and i always liked their Flax Plus and Heritage Flakes.

my personal vote is still for Uncle Sam's, because i don't like very sweet cereal and you can just add a little sugar (or honey, or stevia or other sweetener) if you want to.

I got a box of Uncle Sam's at Trader Joes after reading this post, and wow, I really like this stuff! Nice and crisp, with enough natural sweetness -- great cereal.

i'm so glad you liked it - i hate when people try something on my recommendation and end up disappointed. i had to give up Uncle Sam's when i stopped eating gluten about 5 years ago, and i *miss* it!

I don't know about other products, but I eat this stuff almost every morning - there are lots of ways to enjoy it. I think it's one of the best high fiber cereals available, actually. My current fav way to eat it is mixed with 1/2 c. lowfat cottage cheese and 1 T. of American Spoon pear/ginger fruit butter - delicious, crunchy, shot of protein . . . a piece of fruit on the side and you have a healthful breakfast.
