Food, Inc. and Tapped
I just watched these two enlightening documentaries...it makes me so irate and I feel helpless. I wish there were more farms around me (I live in metro-Boston so there aren't many).
How did you all react to these documentaries? What sort of changes did it effect on your eating and purchasing habits?
I've only seen Food, Inc. It didn't change any of my eating habits, because I can't say there was anything in that movie that I hadn't already known. I already do what I can to get my meat organic, free-range, and hopefully grass-fed if its beef. I'm not dogmatic about it, and will still enjoy my unfortunately rare steakhouse outings, but I do make an effort.
