salted butter

There is a definite flavor and textural difference between salted and unsalted. For instance, unsalted melts more slowly & has less water content, thus it's waxier. I buy both. There's no such thing as too much butter, it's one of the basic food groups!!

We also have both on hand at all times. I love Kerrygold salted on toast and for cooking things like eggs or spinach, Kate's unsalted for baking and delicate sauces. My wife prefers unsalted on everything. So, two butter dishes in the fridge.
