One day & night on Las Olas

We will spend a night at the Riverside Hotel before a cruise in January. Since our flight to FLL arrives early, I thought that the Riverside would be a good base as Las Olas should offer plenty of diversions. But where to eat? We need a pleasant lunch, dinner and breakfast within easy walking of the Riverside.

The hotel menus look a bit pricey. Or is the food worth the high prices?
Any suggestions will be appreciated.

May Santa bless foodies
Regardless of taste;
Faux tofu or foie gras
Or just almond paste.

Whatever you crave,
May he bring it in haste.
Next month is for diets;
Don't look at my waist!

Merry Christmas!

      Love Sushi Rock. Also the crepe restaurant is good for breakfast or brunch. Johnny
      v's is also very good. There are some other restaurants on Las Olas that are good, but those are my favorites. I don't know where you're coming from or what you're looking for. On Las Olas, but a bit of a walk from your hotel is Chima, which is also very good. Check out their menus and see what looks good to you. The restaurants at your hotel are okay.

      Gran forno bakery has a little bistro on the same block as the riverside hotel. Pretty casual but a good bet for lunch.
