Venue for cocktail party for 40-50 ppl

Hi, I'm looking for a venue with great food, not too fancy, but fun/hip vibe for a cocktail party for 40-50 ppl. I don't want a sit-down dinner. I'm thinking heavy apps. And would be great if we could dance. Is this too much to ask for? Budget is 5K.

    Absolutely do not know if it will fit your budget but you could check out Rouge Tomate, they have lots of spaces for private events, cool minimilist space, great cocktails (including some non-alcholic). I've had service issues in the dining room and wouldn't go back for dinner but I think it's a great space for a cocktail reception.

      I went to a cocktail party at Zengo. Cool private space, good Latin-Asian appetizers. They have a set of private event options with prices posted. You could have an open bar and appetizers for $70 per person for two hours. We didn't dance, so don't know if that's a possibility.
