Kabocha in the Philadelphia/ Bucks County area?
I was planning on making pumpkin pie over the holidays, but (obviously) pumpkin is very out of season so I am hoping to use Kabocha if I can find it. Does anyone know if I can get Kabocha somewhere around Philadelphia or Bucks County?
Thanks for your help!

I ended up getting two different squashes and making two pies. The first squash was a kabocha from Essene Market, and the second was a calabaza from Redding Terminal Market. They both look delicious and are baking in the oven right now. Thank you for your help and happy holidays!

Asian supermarkets, Weavers Way Coop, Mexican veggie vendor in the Italian mkt (The squash is not Mexican though, it's Asian) Essene Market. Kobacha is a superb, caramel flavored squash with dense flesh, I use it for pies,it's better,10 times more flavorful (less wet) than pumpkin. Try the huge Korean supermarket near Lansdale.
