Am I missing the link or maybe it isnt here?

Hi! I have been reading this newsletter and visiting the site for a while now--but posted something (a reply) for the 1st time today! And--to my surprise when I went back to my email--I had like 10 emails with one reply from the topic in each one. I went back to see if emails from a topic could be sent as in a "digest" form rather than one email after another--but could not find any?
So--did I miss something or is this not possible? And if not--why not?

Happy Holidays, Diane, and welcome to posting on Chowhound. Sorry someone didn't answer this sooner.

Everytime someone contributes something to a thread that you participated in you will get an email notification.

To stop that, go to your profile page

Click on the "Settings" tab

Click on "Notifications"

Remove the check mark from the "Enable Chowhound Notifications" box by clicking on it

Hit submit.

Then if you are interested in the future about updates to any posts you participated in, go to your profile page and you will see topics flagged as "New"

When you sign up, that flag is automatically turned on and you have to manually turn it off.

Thx for your reply! I am afraid that if I dont get the emails--I will forget to check and see if anyone has replied! So, for now, I guess I will just fill up my email-box with 1 message at a time! Happy & Healthy Holidays to you & yours! Diane
