La Nostra Pasta 1100 N Tuttle Sarasota
Decided to go for a Groupon deal and purchased a discount coupon for La Nostra Pasta. Having no expectations we went this past Friday for dinner and were pleasantly surprised. The food was quite good and very moderately priced for what we got. The wait staff were very pleasant. The place has only been opened for a couple months. We definitely will return.
The proprietors also own the Peruvian Restaurant a couple doors away called El Patio Latino.

Agree with the "pleasant surprise". This restaurant is in a latin-oriented shopping center with several South American businesses. Not sure where they got the idea for doing Italian - one of the dishes was Fetuccini Huayasca (or something like that.) Because of the lack of English language skills, I never could find out exactly what it was!
Nevertheless, the food is very good and I've eaten here several times. Adding a lunch menu with prices in the $7 range makes it very attractive. Lunch includes a nice saad or soup along with a bountiful entree. At the moment, this is my favorite little Italian restaurant. Knocked one star because of the language issues.

Went to La Nostra Pasta again on Sunday evening....so good...just as good as the first time we dined there..they should be busier, bit I am guessing it may be the location.
If you sign up on their website, they give you a 10% off coupon, I believe or if you "like" them on Facebook, the do.the same.
