Christmas present- meal in W Sussex?

I'm hoping to give my in-laws a nice meal for Christmas (approx £100 total). They live in Worthing, and the first thought that came to mind was Ockenden Manor. Has anyone been to Sat/Sun lunch there (the affordable gift voucher options)? Any other nearby suggestions for two people who love good food and are culinarily adventurous? I'm in the U.S., so something I could arrange from afar would be helpful.

The Good Food Guide has The Pass at Lower Breeding as the highest scored place in the county. And, indeed, their 29th best restaurant in the country.

A pal speaks highly of Restaurant Tristam at Horsham.

Not to far from that area is The Curlew near Bodiam. I guess that would be considered East Sussex. We had a very nice meal there a year or so ago. They have a website.
