Basque Meals

I simply love the way Basques serve wine. Wine should be served in old bottle or jugs and be poured into juice glasses to drink. The wine should not be so big and bold that it overpowers.........Wine is treated like it should be here.......AS FERMENTED GRAPE JUICE, not as a pretentious monstrosity served by snobs to snobs in stemware!

      Blimey, but that sounds righteous!

Just as they serve wine and beer in the Basque country of spain! Served with lots of pinxtos!

Now what should we eat with our rough Basque wine in our fruit jars? Some kind of spicy, peppery stew, I'm guessing.

Of course! made with mutton, 'cause the lamb has to go to market.

Hmmm. I may just keep to the wine and some peppers and bread.

You know, there's something very appealing in what you say.
