Growlers in Westchester

I just moved to White Plains. Anyone know a good place to get a growler filled nearby?

  1. I don't know if they do Growlers at the Lazy Boy Saloon on Mamaroneck Ave in White Plains. That is the best beer bar in that area and they have aroumnd two dozen taps. Give them a call.

There is a new place in Tuckahoe about 5-6 miles south of White Plains called The Growler, and as the name implies, they are a great beer bar and sell growlers.

      1. Take a ride to DeCicco's in Ardsley.

One of the best beer stores in the area by far.

          1. Whole Foods at Ridge Hill. Don't know if the White Plains one does it also. Beer snob and IPA fan husband is very happy with their selection.

Yes to Ridge Hill (Yonkers), no tap beer in the White Plains WF.

And if you're going north, you can also get growlers filled at the Peekskill Brewery (not just their beer, and they have I think about 15 lines at all times).

Also Captain Lawrence Brewery fills growlers of their beers, on Fridays and Saturdays. They're in Pleasantville now but will be moving soon to Elmsford.

I think Birdsall House fills growlers too, come to think of it.

I think you're right, but I was going to check. Time to stop by for a late night beer!

                    CL is open Thursdays too.

BTW, this place just opened in New Rochelle as well.
