ISO Torroni Baci from Innocenzo Borrilo formerly at AG Ferrari

I'm obsessed with these dark chocolate covered nougat bars (high ratio of nuts) from Innocenzo Borrilo (http://www.borrillo.it/pagine/torroni...) which AG Ferrari used to sell over the holidays. I usually pick up 2-3 boxes as gifts and for myself.

Unfortunately, the woman at AG Ferrari said they aren't carrying them at all this year. Has anyone seen these? They come in a cream colored box with a cherub kissing a woman and are individually wrapped in wax paper with blue printing.

Check with an Andronico's. They are already carrying some of the product line (the same company bought both companies out of bankruptcy). It is worth a try.

Thanks for the suggestion, but they don't have them. Actually, I noticed that AG Ferrari's stock is a lot less interesting than it used to be. Probably all those obscure italian imports were a victim of cost cutting.

The Pasta Shop has some fancy Italian torroni. Not sure about that brand.

Hey, AG Ferrari has restocked these for xmas. They also have several Perbellini panettone, so they appear to bringing some of their more obscure goodies back, at least for christmas.
