Area around the standard hotel in nyc

We are staying at the standard hotel on washington st Dec. 30th,
need a place to meet friends for dinner does anybody have any ideas? also any clubs nearby for after dinner drinks and entertainment?
this is the first time we are staying in this area of nyc

Plenty of clubs in that neighborhood, but unless you're talking about just after-dinner cocktails, the moderators don't like us to veer into "activity" recs.

Re: dinner, plenty of options there too. It will help tremendously if you could tell us how many will be in your party, what kinds of food you do/don't like, and most importantly, how much you're willing to spend per person, pre-drinks and pre-tax and tip.
