weekday lunch--Weiss' Deli, Noodle Pot or LOS??
San Diego hounds coming for a few days over Christmas weekend and trying to figure out where to go for a good, casual lunch. Interested in Weiss' Deli, mostly b/c it was in David Sax's Save the Deli, but the reviews here and on Y*** are inconsistent. We are used to good deli, ie: Brent's in Northridge and if Weiss' doesn't come close to Brent's or anything in LA, then we'll skip it.
Noodle Pot interests us b/c we like nieu ro mien. Have been to Champion Noodle House a lot but feel like they have slipped since they moved to their new location, so we're open to checking somewhere else out.
LOS is a consistant board fave and somehow, we end up missing it. Main question is: is it easy to find parking or it is a pain b/c it's on the Strip?
We've been to China Mama, Yun Nan Garden, KJ Kitchen, Raku and Cathay House (dim sum), if that helps give you an idea of the quality we're after.

Hey d..
LOS hands down...you will flip out on how good the Thai is..
I would go everyday at lunch for their off the menu..opens right at 11:30 am with a line.
It's in a divey strip mall on Sahara past the LV Hilton..about a mile from the strip.
I jones their food every single day and I'll give you $$ so you can bring me back some food..

re: daantaat
LOL...I'm everywhere..
My DH and I wish we weren't on our way to Sedona vs. home, else we would of ordered tons of food from LOS and put it in the cooler...it is beyond that good!
Have fun and check out City Center and they have a 'secret pizza' place on the third floor of the Cosmopolitian that is off the chain good for a slice..very NYC style.
Have a great time!
