Looking for pork belly in the south bay.

Hi -- we're new to the south bay and looking for butcher shops and asian markets where I can buy pork belly. I haven't stopped in to Restaurant Depot either, but I know that our one in CT didn't carry it. Any ideas?

    1. Go to Seafood City Carson.

      1. i'm reasonably confidant that every asian market around here has pork belly. saw some at marukai a couple days ago.

        1. 99 Ranch Market in Gardena, World Market , Nijiya and Mitsuwa in Torrance.

The OP should know that at 99 Ranch, the pork belly will come in large slabs with the skin on. Of course, the amount/weight can be determined by the customer. The Nijiya/Mitsuwa selection is with the skin trimmed off, smaller precut pieces, and much higher $ per/pound.

That's great. Making porchetta. Thanks to all.
