I am going to be at the Reading Terminal Market this week and am needing a small ham. Anyone have any favorite? I will wait until Wednesday, when the Amish and Mennonites will be in business. Thanks!

Not at RTM, but my go to ham is from Groff meats in Elizabethtown, Pa. They ship and if you order Mon, you will have Wed or Thurs. No water added and lightly salted, been getting them for decades.

      Hi Deluca,

I revisited this thread early in November, as I was looking for a good ham for Thanksgiving. Wound up ordering from Groffs and was very happy with their ham. Would definitely buy from them. Thanks for the suggestion!

This is not at RTM, not even in Philly-north, near the PA-Jersey border. That said, it's worth a trip. Here's the link. You may need to paste it into your browser. Everything at this place demonstrates the quality of outstanding artisanal food preparation
