Hi,
I'm trying to find out what restaurants are open on Christmas Day in the Baltimore area. It doesn't matter what type. Though I usually hear of Chinese places open then.

This is always tricky--last year since Christmas fell on a Saturday night, there were some great options. Hubby and I dined lavishly and fesitvely at the Prime Rib. Sadly, they aren't open this year on the Day.

Only a few options that I am presently aware of (like you suggested--chinese oriented). Joey Chiu's In Greenspring Station as well as the P.F. Chang's in the Towson Town Center Mall.

McCormick and Schmicks in downtown Baltimore is also open. Went there many years ago with my Mom and shared a lovely dinner. We opted to order off of the standard menu versus the tradtional holiday offering. We were quite satisfied. You may consider any of these, but I recommend that you post haste make reservations. Check out some Indian restaurants. Cafe Spice in Cockeysville was open last year. Darbar in Fells Point is supposedto be open.
