Fruitcake....Where to Buy

Hi,
I'm looking for a good old-fashioned American fruitcake. I need to stay in San Francisco so I don't want to buy it online. Where can I buy one? Google hasn't yielded much helpful info. Thanks!

Try Semifreddi's. I also saw LaBrea Bakery's holiday loaf at Berkeley Bowl but it looked more like a Panettone.

Arizmendi in Inner Sunset has a killer, boozy fruitcake. A bit steep at $14, but damn good.

I second Arizmendi which is my favorite. What do you mean though about American fruitcake? Are you looking for a light fruitcake with glow in the dark citrus? if so, you don't want Arizemendi which is chock for of nuts and good dried fruit like apricots, etc and soaked in three different types of booze.
