I'm asking this on behalf of a friend, using the information he provided.

He states that A&J sells some of the best kielbasa, EVER.

He has also heard that A&J buys it from a source in Chicago.

So:
- Is it true that the product is purchased from the other side of The Cheddar Curtain
- Any chance anyone can share the name of the seller, if the rumor is true?

A&J sells very fine kielbasa. Has your friend tried the kielbasa from Bernie's in Port Washington?

A number of people I know who are kielbasa lovers consider it to be superior to the one sold at A&J. I have tried both and I prefer the one from Bernie's but I am not an expert.

I laughed out loud at the Cheddar Curtain comment. Very funny!

I've found...by looking at the cryo-pak of the fresh kielbasa, that A&J gets their product from Andy's Deli in Chicago....yes, behind the Cheddar Curtain!!!!
